Here I am in the deserts of Southern California. I'm not sure, but I think the fire is getting closer. Even though the wind is pushing the smoke away, I can still smell it. Don't like it at all!

Wildfire
Today I woke up in Southern California and smelled smoke. When I went outside to use the backyard grass, I looked up and saw a dark sky with a very hazy sun. Ashes were falling all around me, and it made the day--already 95 degrees, hot and dry--even more uncomfortable. I think the fire is far away, so I'm not too concerned. I'll just stay inside, where it's nice and cool--and take a nap.
